Retaining ring with conical cross-section

The conical cross-section retaining ring decreases symmetrically from the center to the free end, and remains circular during contraction or expansion within the normal range of use. This ensures contact with the groove along the entire circumference of the ring. These rings can be installed axially (horizontally along the center point of the axis) or radially (outward along the radius of the circle). According to the size of the relevant ring, one of the following two methods can be used for manufacturing:
For smaller rings: Use a mold and press from steel or copper coils on a press
For larger rings: wire forming, where rectangular wire is wound into the shape of a ring.
